IODU/C can't see the Security Dongle

(OOPS! CORRECTED TRANSLATION ERROR BELOW!)

This post comes from a fellow in another languge forum of PBXInfo. As I am unfamiliar with CDNs (Control DNs) I ask for your assistance:

Does somebody know how to repartition the queues (ACD) and CDN with these conditions? I know that there are 1000 queues and CDN but could there be 1000 CDN only or 1000 queues only?

Thanks,
Cédric

I will translate all replies back to other language forum.

Thanks,
Scott

(In responsps to antother reply ->) Yes, I know. If you have 50 ACD queues then you would have 950 CDN in that case!!! Essentially, what I want to know is the ratio because I already have 340 CDN with 42 ACD queues. I think symposium is limeted to 700 CDN but I am not certain.... I would like to make several modifications once I have reached that limit.

Thanks for your help!

Cedric

Je pense que Symposium est limité a 700 CDN mais je suis pas certain... J'aimerais mieux prévoir que faire plusieur modification quand j'aurais atteint cette limite.

Merci de votre aide!

I believe that the limit is 240 CDNs/QUEUES in the syetm unless you are running p2 processors and have added the expansion that is available.
In that case, I think it is 1000 CDNS/QUEUES in the system.

As far as sccs goes,

From the planning and engineering guide.
nCDN Number of CDNs in the system.
M1/CSE 1000 switch: Typically,
nCDN = nApplications * 1.5.
Maximum = 750. Default = 15.
DMS/MSL-100 switch: Maximum
= 100. See “Number of CDNs
required” on page 308.
Both CPU, LAN,
Disk Space

and

CDNs 1–750
(Rel. 4.2)
1–240
(Rel. 4.0)
The number of Controlled Directory
Numbers (CDNs) in the system.
nCDN
Field Valid range Description Parameter

Hope it helps,
Mike
