Looking for a Nortel Job? Start Here

I am trying to figure out exacty what this error is telling me. Can someone please assist. What does it exacty mean by "Answer Supervision".

I have checked Central office trunks via maintenance set and do not see a problem. Any suggestions? And what is the 28 20
Is that Loop 28 member 20?

ERR0090 tn
Answer supervision received but more digits to be outpulsed.
Action: Check with central office for a bad trunk.

Answer Supervision is one of 4 possible states on a trunk call. Answer Supervison is achieved when the distant party/system/device answers the call. This shows a connected call and begins CDR billing information.

This error states that the call was answered before all the digits were "outpulsed" and indicates a problem with the trunk or trunk members.
Check your D-channel for Route 28, then check your B-channels in the LTM. If all show good - hop on a member via the ACOD and try to dial a number or dial the number that 68.0.7.1 or 68.0.11.13 dialed to produce the error....

Miramar - what are the additonal 222's after the 7108 toll free number? That seems odd.

This may just be a mis-dial (even though the additional numbers are added - the call should still proceed- connect - and be billed in CDR). - I'm not sure if this would produce an error "90" code or not. I'll program a number to an Autodial key tomorrow with additional digits behind the main number to see if I re-create the error.

In the mean time - do a favor and check your CDR Program for Key 0 of TN: 76.0.3.2 and see if a billing record was created for the time that you did the TRAC command for 800-853-7108.

Your TRAC shows the call was established - is this true?

Thks.....

Well I figured out that this is happening when those numbers are added after the 800 number. I was tracking another number and I noticed it had about 8 number 3's after the 800 number being dialed . So using my phone i dialed tha same 800 number and I hit the number three 5 times and wella, a error 90 appeared for my set. Now I need to figure out why it is adding the additional numbers. Any idea?

Thks.....
Looks like PROMPTS on a voice active dial system to me...IE: "For Cust. Serv. Press 2; then "for Electronics Press 2"

When you saw the 3s, could be similar...and the user's just dialing too fast (trying to get thru the menu before it's fully run)
