Print TTY Info???

Hi folks,
need ue help on a problem.
We are a call center and using merdian 61c with release 25.40.We use a dialer for outboud dial. The dialer is connected to meridian thru pri trunks and meridian is connected to carrier thru cas(DTI) trunks.

the problem is in few of our calls we get the message, the no. dialed by you does not exist pl. contact ur service provider. We got the T1s checked thru service provider and found that carrier is not getting all the digits dialed by dialer.
So pbx is dropping the digits.
For instance,
if the dialed no. is 9781231234
the only no. carried is getting is 978231234(9 digits only)

Any idea what shd i look for.
Any help is highly appreciated,
Regards
panky

I would start by trying another dialer if possible. Are you sure the dialler is sending the tones in the right frequency?

Sounds like your dialing rules are hosed in the dialer. I'd start with the server. What kind of dialer are you using?

Do you do implementation & need an indexing program?

Can you dial these same numbers from a phone hooked to the PBX?

If yes your dialers got issues.

If no your PBX is not programmed correctly.

Digits dropped by meridian while dialing out

Another thought are you using a single carrier or different carriers for your outbound traffic?

Do you have CDR turned on for the dialer route?. If so look at the CDR output to see if you are receiving all the digits from the dialer, if thats OK then check CDR output for the outgoing route to see if all the digits are there.

If all of the CDR output looks ok, try calling from your own phone and trace in LD 80 if you get the recording.
