does anyone know of any option to keep unpluged phones in general or specific phones from disabeling at midnight. someone told me they heard that there is now some new option for this without removing any ld's from the midnights.

It may be possible for you to purchase, on a per switch basis, a software patch which will over-ride the design intent of missing sets having their TN's disabled

In the configuration disable LD 30 in the daily routines. That should do it.

the coustomer doesnt want to disable ld 30 because it tests other things besides sets and is not recomended by Nortel. they would really like to be able to turn this option on on a per set basis.

I have the same problem with some analog sets on an OPS NT1R20 card. I still can't explain it.

can you check model of the telephone and port programing 390x type you should match both

a very high profile coustomer (we have 10 onsite techs in my city alone) is requesting this for their war rooms. they seem to have heard there is a product bullitan out saying there is a way to basically cause ld 30 to skip certain sets without turning it off completly. I personally have not heard of this but thought some of you might have. It is a request we get quite often to not let the sets disable from coustomers but the ld 30 option is is kinda a no no as far is nortel is concerned.

Cannot confirm this myself, but I recall seeing a post recently on comp.dcom.sys.nortel saying that setting CLS=FLXA would stop a missing set from being disabled in LD 30. Somebody want to try and post the results?
