SCH0011 - TN in DNBLOCK fails TNTRANS?? - PBX Info :: Your Free PBX, PABX and Telephone Information Resource

Whenever I go to make a change in the switch to extension 1091, after editing the TNB, I get this error message:

SCH0011

Which is : TN in DNBLOCK fails TNTRANS

Does this mean that something is messed up in our PBX that I may need to call our vendor to fix, or is there a quick fix for this?? This error message is also causing OTM to make the changes on the phone, and then when it gets thru making the changes successfully, it says that it failed to make the change, but the change did occur.

You have corruption. This can easily be cleared, but needs to be done by a support person at your vendor or GNTS (ETAS).

You as the user do not have access to the area required to clear this.

ARe you able to do a backup or does it come back with "EDD016 NO GO BAB DATA"

Just to let you guys know, We called our vendor, and they came out and did everything possible. Delete the TN, Moved the TN, delete DNB, called the system names, and then they called Nortel, and they applied some sort of patch to the system and it fixed everything.

There are a few tables in the Meridian databse that cross referemce each other. There is a list of TN's and the DN's that appear on them, then there is a DN table that references all of the TN's that have this DN.

If one table becomes corrupted, then they have to go in (ETAS) and basically zero out the datafil in debug. Not really to complicated, per se, but very tedious work, and it's easy to make a mistake,.

Now in your case they may have applied a patch to prevent the corruption from happening again as well. I just wanted to clear that up so you didn't think there was a magik patch that cleared corruption! Glad you a re backon your feet.
