Is there anyway to find out what the Package/Software Release an Option 11C is if it's already been broken down and packed away? I have some serial numbers; would these help at all?

Also the equipment was purchase at a liquidation sale. Will we have problems being able to upgrade and get passwords that are needed?

Like colin says I think you have to have it up and running to see the Rls since you don´t have the package for the upgrade that was done the last time.

power it up then put a laptop onto port 0 then login

Make SURE that you get the right to use software licence from original party.

With this, call NORTEL & wade thru the myrad of menu choices until you can get to a live person. Explain that you purchased a system and need to be registered as the owner. You may also need teh system serial number.

Would probably be helpful to get all the passwords from original owner as well.

Thanks for all your help. I can't plug it in because it's boxed up and had been purchased through a liquidation sale. I guess I better steer clear of this one.

If youhave a good relationship with your vendor, they can get the last KEYCODE sheet that Nortel shipped. They should be able to do tis regardless of the current registered owner. They just can't order software untill it's properly transferred.
