Location: Arizona Rep Power: 7 ![]() | 9 Types of Users Can I specify what messages/errors get a time stamp. Not all of them do. Currently, some rather insignificant errors get time stamped (like ERR4019) but other, more serious ones do not. What load do I use for specifying what gets time stamped?

Location: Arizona Rep Power: 7 ![]() | http://forum.radiolink.ru Here's an example of what I'm looking for... The first 3 lines show the normal time stamp plus AUD and DTC messages that are spit out regularly during the day. The lines that follow that are time stamps showing the actual time that the ERR4019s occured. I'm looking for the LD where you specify that you want or do not want a time stamp for ERR4019s and so forth. TIM091 06:00 23/12/2002 CPU 1 AUD000 DTC001 . . . ERR4019 1234 TIM091 06:44 23/12/2002 CPU 1 ERR4019 5678 TIM091 06:59 23/12/2002 CPU 1

Location: Canada Rep Power: 6 ![]() | VOICE MAIL ???'s Timestamps are not necessarily indicating the exact time of the error. The time stamp you are seeing is output within 15 minutes of the error message. So if other errors occur in that 15 minute time frame you will not see a timestamp for each one. What you CAN do is turn on "fancy" formatting which wll give you an exact time for each error message. It will also increase the amount of TTY output since each error message prints on two lines. Example: Before fancy format: ERR4019 1234 After fancy format: ERR4019 23/12/02 06:39:14 270482 OPRDATA: 1234 Notice the spaces before "ERR4019". If this were a critical alarm message you would see something like: Before: PWR013 XSMC 15 0 0 After: *** PWR013 23/12/02 06:39:14 270483 OPRDATA: XSMC 15 0 0 The "***" indicates the severity CRITICAL. "**" indicates MAJOR "*" indicates MINOR No "*" indicates INFO. ERR4019 is an INFORMATION message only so no asterisks. You can turn on fancy format in LD 117 =>CHG FMT_OUTPUT ON Steamer

Location: Canada Rep Power: 6 ![]() | ReceptionLess Apparently the message board cleared the 3 spaces in front of the ERR4019 in the fancy format example. The actual TTY output would have spaces. There is more in the NTP under LD 117 but it can be a bit confusing Steamer

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Time stamps before turning on the fancy stuff make sufe u clear it with your vendor especially if u have a seb. it may screw up the triggers for that thing to dial out to notify them of trouble. if u dont have that service "no worries" __________________ WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH DIAL TONE???????????????????????????????????
