From the Admin NTP:
"Overlay programs 10, 11, 20 and 32 are linked thus eliminating the need to exit one Overlay and enter another. Once one of the above Overlays has been loaded it is possible to add, print and get the status of a set without having to exit one Overlay and load another."

Of course, if you are using OTM, then you don't need to know this

Tell me these software releases dont have quirky bugs... I have a 2616 that is sitting right outside my office..I have changed ports, I have also outted and rebuilt on same port.. but no matter what I do, when I IDU it, it comes back as a 2008 set. The phone works absolutely perfect and the only reason I came to find this problem was I am in the process of rewiring the entire main frame. After rewiring the phones, I call the user and if no one answers, I IDU them to make sure they come back up.
A real quick test would be to take a 3000 port and move to another slot, and put a 2000 phone and slide it into the original 3000 port and reprogram. If it doesnt IDU it then, you might have corruption, an old phone or bad karma...time to call the vendor.. DOH!

CAPTAIN HARVEYS!!! WHAT A CHEESESTEAK! (sorry, my old favorite and I moved away).

UPDATE: Welp, scratch that "old phone" theory.. I found a 2006 set from 1990 and it IDU'd just fine...

What version of 25.40 are you running a or b?

I'm able to idu both 3900's & 2616's on 25.40B.

Changing Operator for a Day

- Do all M26XX sets fail IDU or only specific ones? If specific sets, try plugging them in directly at the MDF and retry (round trip delay may be too long).
- Have you increased your HPIB/LPIB settings?
