I'm not sure if this can be done directly within the switch without an outside application...which I don't have...yet.

Question: "How do you bring up the history of a specific extension?"

Reason being is wanting to see what outside numbers were dialed into an extension on a certain date. I looked into LD 2 but looks like I can't narrow it down directly to a specific extension.

Jack....any insight on this one, Buddy?

Thanks....

The only way that I can see you capturing any calls to any ext is through CDR you will need PKGs:

Feature Name Package Mnemonic Package Number
Call Detail Recording (CDR) Base CDR 4
Multi-Customer CUST 2
CDR on Teletype CTY 5
CDR on Data Link CLNK 6
End-To-End Signaling EES 10
Automatic Number Identification ANI 12
Charge Account CHG 23
Charge Account/Authorization code Base CAB 24
Basic Authorization code BAUT 25
Network Automatic Route Selection NARS 58
Coordinated Dialing Plan CDP 59
Network Authorization code NAUT 63
Automatic Call Distribution CDR queue records CDRQ 83
Multi-Tenant Service TENS 86
Japan Central office Trunks JPN 97
Dialed Number Identification System DNIS 98
Message Registration MR 101
Internal CDR ICDR 108
Calling Line Identification in CDR CCDR 118
Multi-Frequency Compelled signaling MFC 128
International Supplementary Features SUPP 131

probably won't need all but most

Purchasing an Option 11C How do you know?

T,

G is on the money here -- although you don't need MOST of the packages listed.

Best way to do it is get a pc runnin one of the 100's of CDR packages out ther hooked to your switch.

Another way that is pretty brutal is to have any old pc hooked to your switch and just store the cdr info. This is painful to work with but it is doable.

I don't believe your chargin back for calls so a real simple/cheap package would probably suit 90% of your needs.

Good Luck.

Jack

To answer your question. if your looking for info on calls that happened in the past, your out of luck. if you want to get call info for the future your going to need a PC or other data collecting device.
