True or False?

Anyone know where to change/ or how to change to display number on an outbound call?

Is it the PUA class on the phone set? That is the only thing I can see that is different from one set that shows our MAIN number as far as outbound ANI (which I want), while the other set shows it's DN on outbound calls.

Thanks,

Two Brooms

Look at your CLID tables most likely phone a is key 0 scr 1234 0 & phone be is scr 4567 1. the numbers after the extension refference a clid table.

Good luck

Jack

ANI display on outbound calls?

Check your clid tables.
Ld 21
req prt
type clid

These relate to the last digit after your dn when you print out the phone.

PUA has nothing to do with it. PUA = Pick Up Allowed

Dialing Carrier Access Codes thru PBX

Thanks Jack. I understand now.....the whole CLID thing just made sense, that's why secondary numbers (in our system) have the 1 behing them---to hide thier identity so people don't publicly use them- finally, I think I got it. Thanks!

TELRAD

Your welcome!

Just be careful re E-911, depending where you are located you may or may not need to outpulse a LEGITIMATE DID to the PSAP, regardless of what key/line the user dialed from.

An extension followed by a D will search down to/for the DID entry.

Just make sure you understand your obligations to the PSAP.

Jack
