Location: Saskatchewan,Canada Rep Power: 6 ![]() | IP / PBX / VoIP Survey -- Win up to $500. How do you determine what type of dialing access you have depending on the number of your NCOS and TGAR. For instance our site here an NCOS of 5 is long distance and another of our sites is an NCOS of 6 for the same access.

Location: New York Rep Power: 6 ![]() | 9 pin/25 pin octopus cable pinout The NCOS is related to the FRL in the RLI. Print out your NCTL data block to see the relationship between the NCOS and FRL. The difference in your two sites is probably in the way the NPA/NXX's are programmed in BARS. The TGAR comes into play when dealing with trunk access.

Location: Saskatchewan,Canada Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Restrict to 1 state I downloaded the instructions for the parser and am not clear on the first step Step 1 Connect to Meridian PBX and download all pertinent data to perform survey. 1.) LD 86 - ESN, DGT (DMI's) & RLB (RLI's) 2.) LD 87 - NCTL (NCOS), All CDP (DSC, LSC,TSC) 3.) LD 88 - AUB (Authorization code block) 4.) LD 90 - In both AC1 & AC2 (SPN, NXX, NPA) Do I just do a capture of all this data to 1 capture file through ProComm? Are the items in brackets separate downloads?

Location: New York Rep Power: 6 ![]() | How to determine NCOS and TGAR PBXrookie, Print the NCTL in LD 87 as sheerhunk stated. Here you will see the NCOS to FRL relationship. This is very important. Make note of what NCOS equals what FRL. In LD 90, print out specific, or all, of the NPA/NXX's and see which RLI they point to. In LD 86, print out the RLB. In here, you will see the FRL. This is directly related to the NCOS of the set which you found in the NCTL data. Verify the NCOS of the phone. Remember that the FRL has to be equal to or greater than in order to use that RLI. Also, check the RLI for more than one entry and verify that the FRL is set the same for both entries. Using all of the info above, you will be able to determine which phone can dial where. Your original post mentioned TGAR. The TGAR of the set is in relation to the TARG of the route. In this case, if the two match, you will not have access to that route. Something a little different, but still may come into play. Please post if need more info......

Open your capture, and go into each load successivly, and print each type of data. For example: LD 86 REQ PRT TYPE ESN ... REQ PRT TYPE DGT DGT <hit enter to capture all DGT> REQ PRT TYPE RLB RLB <hit enter for all RLI's> REQ END etc.. for each load.
