3904 intergration w/VM

I have a new T-1 I built out of an Option 81C which is going to a new Rightfax. The T-1 loop is 45 and rdb is 12. I have ten DN's CDP to RLI 17 which is pointed to Route 12. I can dial the DN and get fax tone but when I dial the whole number it rings the Receptionist. I checked RDB to make sure RCLS=EXT and still nothing. I will be glad when this implementation is over! Does anyone have any Ideas???

SCH5783 Error??

Why do you have an ATDN of 566, and CNVT=YES?

Also what do you mean when you dial the "whole number", are you meaning when you dial the DID number from an external line?

BRI Card ST Part Number please

I just changed CNVT=no and that removed the atdn. The whole number is the DID with NPA NXX like you would dial the number from outside the switch.

deleting area codes

Could be that the trunks in your DID route don't have an NCOS that will allow them to dial the steering code.

Routing problem

I think I have fixed the problem by changing DSEL from VCE to VOD. It seems to be working, does anyone know why that would affect outside calls from being routed ??? This is a Rightfax Intel board sitting on the other end of my T-1 , so I hope that once it is up and running I wont have ghost problems! Crossing my fingers.

Call Forward

If your inbound trunk route DSEL is 3VCE, it may be that your inbound calls were classed as 3.1khz, which prevented the calls from going over the VCE only route.
