Location: Jacksonville, AR Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Is there any way to add an incoming call/extension to an already existing conference/conversation. Here's a little bit more info: Whenever we make a conference call, we are only able to make a conference call on outgoing calls only. However, if someone tries to call in, we can pick up the line, but cannot add it to the conference call. In order to get around this, we subscribe to a service from our local CLEC in which a group leader calls in first and then everyone else calls and joins in. Is there any workaround where we can add an incoming caller to a conference call? If not, is there anyway thru Meridian Mail, Symposium or another mail server to establish this type of function (looking for budget items.)

What sort of system are you dealing with? Also, Rls and all that good info. Someone will have an answer. John

Location: Chicago -- CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE Rep Power: 12 ![]() | John is right on the money here is how it works -- Your on established conf. call. You recieve an incomming call on key 1 (or whatever key). You press park twice -- this will park the call on your extension (Unless you have system park extensions defined (I've rarely seen any one build these though) which you can check in ld 50 SPDN if set to 0 (default) means none are defined. Call is sent into space. Back on the conference call, press conf. dial your SPRE Code + 72 & you'll get call back from space. Pres conf. again and all parties are together. Far harder to type than it is to do. Post back with any questions. Jack

Location: NORTEL - Ottawa Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Look at Call Join... If in an active Conference call with another call on hold either on a DN key or Call Waiting key, then hit the Conf key, hit the DN/CWT key, hit the Conf key again. Party is added to the conference.
