SU10 - Symp 4.2

I just setup a analog line from scratch. Everything works even has a dial tone but when I call the number it does not ring. I tested with 3 different phones and they all dont ring. Is there something in the CLS that must of got disabled and needs to be enabled?

Analog line wont ring but everything works???

There is nothing in the programming that will turn off ringing on an analogue port. Your options are most likely
1/ a faulty port
2/ the ringer is turned off on the phone
3/ the phone doesn't have a bell circuit & needs an adaptor jack

Make sure that you have a ring generator installed in the IPE shelf if this is bigger than an Opt. 11 switch.

Nope, they provide dial tone & receive your dialled digits. As Jack said, if it's an Opt51c up, you need a Ring Generator in the IPE shelf. On Opt11c/mini it's the power supply that provide rininging current.
