Is it typical to configure the local PRI for NI-2 or Custom? I have two sites with Option 11C's networked via PRI. One site is configured for NI-2 on the local PRI and the other is setup for Custom on the PRI. Thoughts?

NI-2 or Custom?
Most all of the sites I have done have been NI2. The one exception was a switch that ran out of an AT&T #5ESS. Have never used custom, so don't know about it. What kind of CO is at the custom site?

I believe it is a DMS switch. I have also recently found out that NI2 should be used in most cases and the layer 1 flag at the CO should be set to N for a Nortel to Nortel environment.
