Excuse me if I don't use the correct terminology.

We are trying to hook a line side T1 card up to a 3rd party Conferencing Bridge (Spectel) It currently is setup to support a T1 with Wink start and E&M Signaling. We have 6 T1's from a carrier that we have plugged straight into the bridge and it answers just like it should. We unplug those T1's and hook our Line Sides up and as of yet haven't been able to get it to answer on the different scenarios we have tried. According to Spectel we should be able to do this but as most 3rd party companies they have no info on HOW to do it. I am looking for any help on how to program up the line side t1's to send the correct info to the bridge and interface DN's with it. If you need more info please ask, I am just getting the jist in here to see if anyone might know where to start.

Thanks

Chad

The Line Side T1 card only supports loop or ground start signalling, so you will have to change the signalling on your conference bridge.

However, if your bridge requires DNIS digits or E&M signalling, you will need to have a regular T1 card. I have had to do this to supply DNIS digits to a PC-based T1 card on an IVR system and it does work OK.

Basically the switch T1 card is set up as a TIE route, and I use CDP to direct the calls to the card, and a Digit Manipulation Table to insert the desired DNIS digits.
