| Senior Member  | CLT Key on i2004 Here's my situation,we are currently running an Opt 61 and an Opt 11 with a remote shelf connected to the 11 about a half a mile away connected through a T1. Question is this,how many card can be added to the RPE shelf as we currently have 3.I've been reading some docs and it says something about an LMI CARD. Thanks,Rick |

| Junior Member | It seems you are reading about a Mini Carier Remote. The question is What do you have a Carrier Remote ( Connected via a carrier network card ) or a Mini ( which is connected via cards that are placed in the IPE shelf. Either way if it's hook up via a T1 you only have 22 talk paths to the far end. That being said you can hook up as many phones you think you can get away with using only 22 channels. |

Location: TN Rep Power: 0  | Well what are you using as of right now? If you are using the Mini Carrier remote then that is where the LMI card is coming into play. The LMI is gonna be the Local side card. RMI is gonna be the card on the remote end. On your local side you have the LMI along with extender cards. Each extender represents two cards on the remote end. Let us know more specifically what you are using. | ||||||||
