81c hyperterminal

recently we have a problem with our OTM PC we use to access local 81c and remote 11c. How can I connect to 81c directly with a terminal PC (using hyperterminal) until OTM PC is fixed. Thanks

Build yourself a TTY port and connect the PC to it

Or you could connect a PC via ethernet and rlogin with an Rlogin emulator like SecureCRT or putty.exe....you would need to connect to the same segment as the OTM pc, and give yourself an appropriate IP address in the same segment as the Meridian...
Search ethernet and rlogin on this forum for help....

yep use, RLOGIN. Assuming that the OTM PC was using ethernet connection to PABX, switch the cable from OTM pc to any other pc and use putty.
