Rep Power: 0  Country:  | Two Prayers I am considering replacing an m2250 with a PC Attendant Console. Does anybody know if the PC Console has a Busy Lamp Field option or display? If it doesn't than I can't make the switch because our recep uses this heavily on the 2250. Thanks Josh Given | ||||||||

Rep Power: 8 Gender:  Country: | I tried a pc console once (ONCE) and it had all kinds of problems. Nortel had us updating software, changing the interface unit, etc. Any way, we ended up eating the cost of the pc console software and installing a 2250 instead. NO FURTHER PROBS I have though heard of other installs of the pc console that worked ok. By the way this was on a dedicated pc with nothing else running on it. | ||||||||

Location: Terre Haute, IN Rep Power: 7 | Lots of different phones and cards Not sure about the BLF since it is not needed in our application. We have installed 2 of the PC consoles and have never had a problem (one is almost 4 years old). Our recep's that have used both prefer the PC console. | ||||||||

Location: Ensenada Mexico Rep Power: 6 Gender: Country:   | Happy in the morning Jgiven: The PC console have all the functions of the 2250 on the screen. Rigth now I have one PC Console and two 2250 and work fine both, the next month I install 2 more PC attendant to replace the 2250. I have installed for 3 years and the operators use the PC to others activities like surf the web, check email, craate the corporate directory tu upload to the intranet, hear music some times etc. In fact rigth now I have 3 operators and the 3 like work with the PC, so I think Ramjet have bad luck!  | ||||||||
