Location: Toronto Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Carrier reports everything is fine on there end....sometimes I wonder what exactley they look at while Im on hold for 30minutes. Heres my setup in a little more detail, hopefully someone has some ideas Customer Service 800# and Local equivalent enter switch via PRI Megalink Route 99. Route 21 is set up for Customer support with an AUDN of 7501. 7501 is programmed in my callpilot as a SDN that points to a voice application. This application provides options that transfer to the appropriate skillsets in symposium. I had a problem once before with port on my callpilot channels locking out. This situation is different because the ports are releasing just fine and callers are hearing a fast busy error tone as opposed to just a busy tone. My Alarm Monitor in callpilot mentions an error in the customer support apllication that I cant make heads or tails of. Event Code: 55922 Severity Major Description An error occurred in the Main block. Impact Not Applicable Recovery Action Check the Event log for any other events generated to help determine the problem. Technical Support Action Not Applicable .Whats that suppose to mean. I guess Im going to go in early tomorrow and rebuild my Callpilot application and see if that resolves the problem.... Feel free to contribute any ideas....this is our bread and butter here!! Thanks

A. Dial the 7501 locally - Did it ring through? If so the carrier isn't giving the fast busy. B. Dial the toll free number - Did it ring through? If so the carrier isn't giving the fast busy. Program back to normal....... 2nd Check Symposium. Dial the CDN that call pilot dials. Did it ring through? If so then Symposium isn't giving the fast busy. This would attempt to isolate to Call Pilot. __________________ Free Preview of my fictional book: "Chaos Theorem": http://www.lulu.com/content/249842. Full PDF Download just $3.99. Location: Toronto Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Beth--- Thank Chas. I did manage to localize the problem to Callpilot. Although your IDC method wasnt something I tried its a great idea....I'll do that next time. It appears my Callpilot application is suffering from some corruption. I rebuilt it and repointed SDN 7501 to the new app and everything is working fine. Next question...what could have cause the application to become corrupted in the first place?

Location: Gulf Coast Rep Power: 5 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | thru-dial Yeah - I have 36 toll free numbers and Symposium and Centigram VM (a nightmare when attempting to isolate carrier troubles), so I use IDC as my buffer zone. As far as corruption - I haven't a clue - I know Meridian Family products don't like to have field information re-written (they always say to out an ACD set instead of changing - that kind of thing). However - I'm not familiar with Call Pilot and what would cause corruption. Does it happen often? I notice you said that the ports lockup sometimes - is it a highspeed link or some type of analog port setup?
