Good Day,

I understand that there is a feature where a caller gets forwarded to Meridian Mail, and press 0 they can get redirected to another DN.

Does anyone know what needs to be done to set this up?

Thanks,

0 out option in MMail

Set the revert dn in the box that you want to redirect.

I think I am still missing something.
When I dial 5656 and get VM I hit 0 and I get "A valid attendant number has not been specificed" error message. I want the call to go to DN 5630. I have put 5630 as the revert DN for VMB 5656 and saved. But I still get the same messge.

Any help would be appreciated.

On mail box 5656 in your MerMail you would put 5630 as the revert DN. Then when a caller gets voice mail while calling 5656 if the caller presses 0 the call will be diverted to 5630. Be sure that 5630 is a valid phone number. Other than that I can't imagine what would be missing. What release software are you running?

Urgent - incoming number ringing fast busy

I tried the revert DN with another number and it worked fine. I guess there is something wrong with the 5630 number.

thanks for the help

Is 5630 allowed in the Restriction/Permission list?
