The onsite person at my remote office did something that caused TTY's to Disable. In the process of trying to bring things back up before calling me he did a few things that I am not clear on. When I was finally called I was able to enable the tty for MATcdr and the tty for the HSL to MerMail. Almost as soon as I turned those two back on the ERR3036 and ERR3037 errors started. All of them are 24 2 15 and the final time slot is always different. Loop 24 is the receiving loop and this corresponds to our Local T1. Loop 2 is the sending loop and that is MerMail.

What do I need to look at to clear this issue? Keep in mind I am two plane rides away from this site. Is this something that I can correct remotely? Is this something that I will need the onsite person involved in?

These errors do not appear in the history file prior to my restoration of the TTYs.

Have you had them check to see if the loop cable to the mail is attached securely? I've had that issue when it was not in all the way.
Check both ends of the cable on loop 2

I have left a voice mail for the onsite person to check the cable and verify that it is completly plugged in on both ends. I will post back with the results.

Apparently it was the cable the FREAKIN' GENIUS AWARD goes to "jwood". Thanks for the tip. It has been 3.5 hours since the cable was checked and not a single ERR code has passed.
