Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The Pastors visit I 'm trying to add two of my 11c switches to our company lan.. I set up in ld 117 the ip subnet and gateway info ... but cannot ping my gateway .. plug the ethernet cable into p1 get all the lights but cannot ping anything. also how do you set this up in ld 17 ?? i thought it was set up as a pty port? | ||||||||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | do i need to sysload the switch after putting in the ip info, gateway , subnet mask... when i stat the elnk in 137 it is enabled and the correct ip's are there /... but still unable to ping anything past the default gateway .. i can ping the gateway.. and my ip but that it... i can plug the same connnection into my pc and ping everywhere on my lan.. what up? | ||||||||

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | What does your Route look like, and have you enabled it? The route should look like this: 0.0.0.0 X.X.X.X Where X is the IP of the Gateway. As for enabling the route, this can be done in LD 117 by first doing this: prt route Which will tell you what route number is assigned, then do this: enl route X (Again X is the route number) It should come back saying OK, though sometimes I've had it come back as failed and it still works. If that doesn’t help go to LD 137 and disable and enable the ELNK, sometimes this helps kick it in the pants. dis elnk enl elnk | ||||||||
