Unable to delete OOSSLT unit...

We have a 2616 phone that is in a common place so the NCOS is 2; however, people can make long distance calls by putting a code in 1st. Is there anyway I can find out that code or change it?

Thanks

How your NCOS 2 is made ? Does it Allow all and deny specific or the contrary. If the latter you should perhaps change it to prevent use of such a code.
If you have a call accountig software you can perhpas find the code there or in the raw file collected from the PBX.

Goto LD 88 and print your auth codes.

REQ prt
TYPE aut
CUST 0
SPWD (enter security password)
CODE (press return)

CODE 1111 CLAS 005
CODE 2222 CLAS 005
CODE 3333 CLAS 005
CODE 4444 CLAS 005, etc........

All your existing authorization codes will print out.

Next---
With your CDR software there are (2) ways to bill. You can bill against the Prime DN or ACDID or you can use associated billing when using an Auth Code.

1st query the extension of the 2008 and see what the last number was that bypassed your NCOS setting. With that long distance number perform another query to determine which auth code made the call.

If that doesn't work - you may have to delete auth codes until someone complains that his/her auth code isn't working anymore...

Call forward off-premise

I don't know what the Security Password is for the "SPWD" prompt. I tried entering the password that I use to log into the switch, but that didn't work. Do you know how I find out what it is?

Thanks

Hi - I looked in all the books to see if there is any listing of the default passwords (As PP indicated we shouldn't list them here). If I couldv'e found a listing I wouldv'e pointed you to the appropriate documentation. No avail........You'll need to contact your vendor.
Good luck
Chas
