Ok, take the cover off the phone system and shoot paper clips into the switch and say the cdr file may be currupted for awhile.

BTW, turn switch lights off and then shoot paper clips into phone system, it's a cool light show!

Darby,
I've kept quiet about this for a while, but I think I'll share my thoughts now. I realize that we all have people at our places of employment that like to make life miserable for other people. When it comes into our power to try and stop them, we like to try. But, in this case, I think that if those of us here at PBX info tell you how to mess with files like this, even for an honorable cause like outsmarting the villan we all hate, that wouldn't be such a good idea. The reason it's not a good idea for us to share this with you is that some other person may come along and read the post and realize "Hey, I could completely defraud my company by taking my CDR out of the files and then making all kinds of crazy calls all over the world without anyone knowing who made them". SOOO even though we know your intentions are good and we can all sympathize, I don't think we'll be sharing this information with you in this forum format. Kapish?? Good.

Now, lets all try to help Darby think of some other ways to make life slightly uncomfortable for this "phone bill comber". How about you temporarily (overnight say) put the main number in to this person's DN so they get like 50 voicemails to check and have to forward on to other people. That might eat up some of their time and make them slightly uncomfortable too...
Remember.. you never heard that from me.

Good Luck man!

AB

Kapish! I understand and agree about the fraud end of this, I am so naive I hadn't even thought of that. I think I have a way of dealing with this person anyway. As usuall thanks for all the help.

Or .. If you really wanted to have some fun with this person... Put a signaling key on your set and have it set to signal the "Villan" everytime you push it. ... Man that can get real annoying hehe .. and at the same time harmless
