Fast Busy Tone

Hi all,

Just inherited a system from another vendor who closed shop and whenever you call a busy set it gives you the "Release and Try Again" message with fast busy signal. This is instead of showing "Destination Busy. Ring Again?"

Any help on this is appreciated.

Rgds,

Moshe

Maybe this system/set does not have the Ring Again feature enabled. Our sets do not all for the Ring Again feature so, they too show "Release and Try Again".

Hi rachelle,

long time..
From the ntps, they say that for the digital M39XX phones all you have to set is the KEY XX RGA on the calling set. Do you also have to set this for the called set?

Was also wondering why they dont say "Destination Busy" and give you the Busy tone...

Rgds,

Moshe

Sorry, that I don't know. As a side note: Depending on where the device was manufactured, there could be some differences in the display text. Just like the 2216/2616 sets, not all would show "Logged Out". It was based on who made the phone.
