Location: Baton Rouge, LA Rep Power: 6 ![]() | CLID I've been spending a lot of time trying to set it up so our fax machines do not need to dial long distance codes to make long distance calls. It hasn't been working out, they still need to dial a code. Is there any way I can insert a long distance code (it is assigned by our long distance carrier) at the end of a dialed number? I'd like to do a separate code based on the extension the calls are being placed from, impossible? Now that I read this it just sounds ridiculous.

Can you enter in all the digits 81212555121 then a 4 digit PAC code then press GO? Or do you have to go off hook first then dial the digits? John

Location: Baton Rouge, LA Rep Power: 6 ![]() | They can dial fine from the faxes but I wanted to do it in the switch. The manager doesn't want people seeing the access codes on the fax report printouts so we wanted to set them up to not have to dial codes. You don't have to go off-hook on the faxes to enter the codes or dial out. Thanks for the help.
