Rep Power: 0  | first off, i want to thank those who helped me in my previous post, it was very helpful for my project. i just have a couple of last minute questions/problems. i have been tying to find pricing information for our equipment, unsuccessful. i was wondering if any of you could help me in getting some pricing for the nortel products. it seems that the vendors just want to sell the products and wont give prices unless im interested in buying. if you guys could help me find prices for our equipment that would be a great help. we are running the opt.11c, so if you could tell me prices for that and the different cards and of course the software, and lastly trunk lines, such as T1 or ISDN PRI. i would greatly appreciate the help and thank you in advance. for those of you who dont know my situation i am a student in the tcom major, we have a project to set up a voice network for a business, all make believe of course. we are running the opt.11c with voip with about 300 lines. the help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. | ||||||||

| Junior Member  | There is a company based in St. Louis called CMS (I belive the web is www.cms.com) I've dealt with them repeatedly in the past, and while they sell mostly refurb equipment, the can get the priceing for refurb or new...usually with only the promise that when your READY to buy the product, you will give them a serious look. My rep (in my last job, over a year ago almost) was Terry. Very nice bloke. I would suggest them, or with any other vendor, make up some story like "...I work for [insert a company name] and we're looking to purchase some equipment. Right now I'm only getting pricing, as I would ultimatly need the OK of Purchasing [or CFO, or Mngr, et al] in order to buy. [or you need the pricing to set up the PO, that works also]..."
