Hi there. I'm somewhat new to the PBX scene and I have a small problem that I'd like to resolve:

Right now, the time shown on the displays of all the phones is about ten minutes slow. I'd like to change the time but don't know how. I've scoured the documentation that I have to no avail.

Can someone tell me the command? I think it might be an LD 2 but am not sure.

Thanks,
Chuck

OTM

Hey guys, this worked like a charm. However, short of disconnecting all the phones in the building -- like 80 of them -- is there a way to force synchronization of the system time to the phones? Or do I have to wait for the midnight routine to run for this to happen?

Thanks again,
Chuck

MAX 9.32 Print Monitoring Queues

The time update is a background task so depending on how busy your switch is it may take awhile.

If your feeling brave you could force your midnights to run during the day which may expedite the process or you could run LD 30 loop all to force the upadate -- this the portion of midnights that does update the clocks -- either way I would not recommend doing either of these during a busy period.

To change the Call Party Name Display (caller ID) you would LD 95, and then:

REQ OUT
TYPE NAME
CUST 0 (usually zero)
DIG (Leave Blank)
DN (The extension number) i.e. 7647

Then:

REQ NEW
TYPE NAME
CUST 0
DIG
DN i.e. 7647
NAME JOHN SMITH
(Then hit return until you are out)
