I've got a user saying the Call Log option is not working correctly on her phone set.

I've tried talking her through setting it up, but there stil seems to be an issue. (Have not yet gone to see the set for myself, as it's in another location)

Anyone have any info (user guide, or the like) regarding the Call Log option?

Cheers
PG

Ok..um..thanks Icy...

Maybe I should be more specific...

The user is saying that for one reason or another with Call Log set for "Log all calls" it only ever shows 2 callers. Also, saying the arrow (scroll) keys aren't working, but only in the "Call Log Options" menu...

Is this even possible?

Never thought to change the phone ?
Perhaps you can have a look to the phone firmware and upgrade it if possible

I´ve never seen this happen, and I´ve got a lot of 3903 and 3904 sets.
It should collect up to 100 calls (I tried it) in 3904.
The user must be doing something wrong, but just to be safe try the FDLU in LD 32

trying to avoid chaning out the phone if possible....

Firmware download an option, but I'd like to look at it first, FDVU the correct response to check the Firmware version? (been a bit since I've last used that)

If you use IDU in LD 20 then you see the type of set, firmware, serial number and so on.

Need input for a 600+ port PBX

Downloading the firmware of the set against the Meridian software I believe is key to proper operation of all features of the set. You can manually do it in LD 32. You also need to make sure you have all the patches required for 3900 series sets. My problem with the Call Log feature is each set with multiple appearance DN's log each call. Not just the PDN but each call to any DN programmed on the set. So each user can review the Call Log history of all users they have an appearance of. When they see '1 new caller', they don't know what DN the call came into. I was told I need to load 3900 series patches to correct this. ETAS sent me the files and I copied them to a floppy. Some are loadware patches where I'll have to INI to correctly install them. I have a list of all patches needed. If anyone needs the patch numbers I can post them.

All of the above held true or was completed (thanks)
Unfortunatly ultimate issue was as I had feared:
