I'm doing some work in changing a span on an 11c using a TMDI from DTI to PRI, and in the process changing to ESF/B8ZS. Do I need to INI the system after making these changes?

I don't recall 100%, but I don't think you do need to INI once your changes are made. Do a BACK UP of the info is what I would suggest, however. (both disk and hard copy of what you changed in case you need to change it back for any reason)
Good luck
PG

No INI needed. Just be sure to reprovision in LD 17 the Loop at the DLOP prompt and configure for 24 there NOT 23. Do this even though you will only provision 23 B channels later.

I was talking to an old Meridian Engineer ( that I used to work with), who has installed and maintained many 81 and 61's and whatever else they were in the 80's for close to 20 years. An he says that you should put OO instead of 24
DLOP NUM DCH FRM LCMT YALM T1TE TRSH

25 24 ESF B8S FDL - 00

25 00 ESF B8S FDL
He says that it is a legacy prompt for when they used to do Switched 56 k
data circuits, back in days when the PBX handled data to for the Main frame computers. Now that we have WAN/LANS on one does that anymore. I tried it and everything works fine.
