The name has to be programmed to that key just like it was on key 0 in LD 95


PS: why don't you just use key 0 to make a call?.

LDN is the Listed directory number in the ATT gate opener of your CDB. Can be used for any number of things -- whether or not you use consoles.

Actually have a NAS project going on now that spoofs the LDN rather nicely.

What do you need to know 'bout the LDN?

The thing is i can belive that I have to add a name on each SCR button. Is there not an option to display the main SCR key when dialing out. This is for internal calls not external caller ID.

The user has the 1st line on hold with a customer and need to user the second key.

I don´t think you can let the second line show the number of the first line.
But maybe its possible in MCR multiple call ringing. The gurus should know this.
I´m not sure.

You don't say which rls you are, but on the newer releases you can set the CLID entry on keys to use the entry associated with a particular key.
This only works for external calls though which is not what you were concerned with.
Example
KEY 0 SCR 2345 0
KEY 1 SCR 6788 D

When a call is made from key 1 the "D" entry tells the system to "search" the keys, starting at key 0, for a valid CLID entry. In this case, it finds one on key 0 so uses the DN from key 0 for the outgoing CLID.
Too bad it doesn't work internally.

do you want the same EXT number displayed or the name? . If your the tech just program key 1 with the same name as key 0 in LD 95. if you want the same EXT number, make both keys MCR xxxx.
