Location: East Coast Rep Power: 7 ![]() | voice call like norstar Steamer is correct if you want your OUTBOUND ISDN lines-DID lines to go out as key 0 name. What happens is telco automatically assigns your local (nxx) code to your number, then searches its own database to match up with your last 4 digits being sent. For instance, say your key 0 is 5545 and you are on the nxx 333. When you dial out key 0, telco throws the 5545 onto the 333 and the CLID is then assigned "ABC Co" (in your DID group). However, if you have a roll up number of 6545 that is not in your DID group, then telco automatically does the same process.. tosses the 333 onto your 6545, it then searches its CLID database and tags the name of its records (could be "XYZ Corporation"), and any called person will think the XYZ Corp is calling them. Putting a D (just as Steamer showed in his post) on each successive roll up dn will then hunt up the keystrip to key 00 for CLID. I think this is valid from rls 23 up, but not sure. I know its not on rls 21.

Location: Jacksonville, AR Rep Power: 7 ![]() | 3904 intergration w/VM Can anyone post on how to setup CLID?? We have several companies on our switch, but when they dial out to other people, it appears as on main companies line. It not a real big issue to anyone, just kinda annoy the receptionist when everyone calls her saying "Your number was on our caller ID!".

Location: Chicago -- CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE Rep Power: 12 ![]() | KX-T616 You need to provide a BUNCH more info. first Are you using PRI? Is this a multi-customer switch? What does your RDB look like? etc. Without the above anything you recieve in response will be at best a guess. Jack __________________ Dogs rollover Phones hunt

Location: Bethesda, MD Rep Power: 6 ![]() | music on hold implementation This sounds way more complicated then it should be. I think in the end he will still need to use LD 95 to set the name for both keys. I don't believe there is a way around it. I also think it would be the easiest after hearing all the other stuff suggested
