I have a line side T1 card that my IVR uses....On the card I have 6 fax ports. I am getting errors on 1 of the ports. I am not sure if it is an application issue or a hardward issue. I am trying to eliminate the card.

it's very unlikely that a channel on a T1 is having transmission problems. Disable it for a few days and see it it goes away.
