Rep Power: 6   | Next month are company is upgrading to Avotus OTM Software. What im a little confused about is the corralation with Succession 3.0. What is that? Im a noob at all this. So if you could please help me out on what Succession 1000 or 3.0 has to do with OTM software it would be great help to get me started on all this. Considering this upgrade will be new to us here, and none of us really know what we are doing. Splinters | ||||||||

Location: Terre Haute Indiana Rep Power: 7 Country:  | I have been using OTM for about 3 years now. I have been through various upgrades that have brought us to 2.0. One thing to remember is that OTM is primarily a management tool and not a miracle admin GUI that will alleviate the need for CLI use. In order to use OTM you need to be proficient with the CLI. I manage a little under 2000 extensions with OTM. The database that I have built over the past 3 years is invaluable to me as I am now deploying E-911 ANI to the PSAP. As far as Avotus goes, I have used them in the past and have found them to be not worth their weight in styrofoam. | ||||||||
