Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Release One From a Conference Call This is a bit off-topic, and so I'm not sure if this is the best place for this post. I'd like to connect a QView to a comm port on a spare workstation. This isn't for acd stats. It's for a pc-software based reader board setup. Has anyone ever done a setup like this? It seems to be connected correctly, but my 'ACD Messenger' software can't send text to the reader board. I figured I'd check here before I called the manufacturer (less stress that way). thanks, will ps If anyone's got a setup like this, would you mind verifying cabling pinouts with me?

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I have the 2" and 4" Adaptive Micro Systems boards, a QView QV-M1, and the ACD Messenger software. It's not for acd stats, but for me to manually update the text via the software which needs to be connected to the hardware via a comm port on a spare workstation. I just have to figure out the cabling for attaching the hardware. thanks, will

If so, your connections should be as follows...... Tx1 should be Pin 1 Tx2 should be Pin 2 Rx1 should be Pin 3 Rx2 should be Pin 6

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Smart Shoes I've tried about a dozen times to reply to this, but keep getting errors from the board. Here goes nothing.... long story short... I've discovered that there's a proprietary db25 to rj11 adaptor that I need. It's on it's way. thanks, will (*crossing my fingers that it'll let me post this time*)
