Location: Canada Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi, I've got a little problem with my COT trunk. I have an Option 11 release 24. For the moment, I have one Cot trunk (Loop start) on a NT8D14BB (Universal trunk card). The problem is with incoming calls. When a call is placed (far end) from the outside to my number (near end), and the far end goes on-hook while its ringing, the near end (my pbx) continue to ring and never stops.... Now I'm confused, can you help me? Is it the Loop start? I don't think because I tried with a ground start line and it's the same thing. I tried also NEDC and FEDC in load 16 with ETH or ORG...nothing changed. Any ideas? Thank you!

If you've got the control set to Originator or Either - the switch should see the Half-Disconnect and idle the call. Maybe your should check your DSI Timer (Disconnect Supervision) in LD 16...

When ringing voltage is removed, the M1 starts this timer and will assume incoming caller has disconnected when it times out. It should be set to slightly longer than the "off" ringing cycle.
