Location: Bangalore Rep Power: 2 ![]() | does the cisco cme support qsig ? nortel supports 4 flavours of qsig Esig, esgf - for E1's Isig, isgf - for T1's nortel will also support passing of name and number on qsig interfaces, the setting is made on the RCAP parameter in the D chan config ( LD17) In my experience most cisco devices support Ni2 or DMS100 , but its not recommened to use these protocols to interop with nortel as they are not peer to peer protocols

He requires what setting should he set at CISCO site to get that TIE work with name display. I got different manual from CISCO Web site but these were for upto release 4 with CISCO call manager and i need CISCO CME router E1 config with Nortel Rls 5. Regards

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | A Nortel technician was in our office yesterday and he said that the Nortel will not pass caller ID to the Cisco CME using ESS5. He said that we COULD get caller ID if we switched to Q-SIG or NI-2. We will probably make the change to one of those protocols sometime this week. I'll post the results of our findings. Quote:
