Hi,

I have a question regarding MeridianMail 13 and I need a FAST answer.

The situation is as follows:

One of our users got a voicemail from a caller whom claims to be involved in a major crime in our area.

The caller is supposed to call back in the near future.

If the call came into a regular phone, call display would list the number the call came from, unfortunately this mailbox is setup on a phantom set and call display isn’t an option.

Can the number the call was made from be retrieved from MeridianMail?

If so, how?

Thanks in advance fro your help.

Listen to the message header by pressing 7,2 while listening to the message.
The phone number may be there if it wasn't blocked by the caller, in which case, it would not chow on the phone display either.
You could also go into Tools and use session trace, but it won't give you the phone number if "7,2" didn't.

You may be able to get a hold of your local carrier and ask them to pull your CDR records.

Thanks for your input.

In the end, the caller was bogus.

I should have thought of the message header myself, but I got the request while I was on vacation and it caught me off gaurd.

Thanks again.
