Meridian compatibility

We are getting OTM software within the next couple of months. I was curious if there are any good websites with a little basic information on the OTM software (Avotis). Any help would be great =)

OTM 2.0 works good. Don't expect to get any support from Avotis....we had a maintenance contract with them and they were no help.

2.0 is ok but don't expect a whole lot in the ESN portion. Also CPND can be a bit quirky. Do NOT and I repeat DO NOT experiment with ver 1.0 or 1.1. They hang and cause crazy Windows OS problems.

There is an OTM overview presentation in the Downloads section.

I don't know about you guys but I think OTM 2.0 is very very slow. It's a great app but it being so slow kills it for me. I rarely use it but on occasion for special reason only since its so slow.

We have not had any problem with OTM 2.0 being slow. It is on a dedicated server with lots of memory and works fine.

I am NOT impressed with OTM. The OTM client is slow because it sucks up massive resourses plus it crashes. The traffic studies do not give useful info. We were promised so much before we purchased it, now we realize it is MAT with a facelift. If you have a complex environment or multiple call centers, I would not recommend OTM. If you are used to working directly on the switch with a product like Procomm, you will find OTM restrictive and frustrating.

OTM is only restrictive and frustrating if you don't take the time to learn it. I still use command line (as I have for years) but my tech uses OTM daily and likes it. I find OTM pretty easy to use and have been making an effort to use it more. My tech hated it until we upgraded to 2.0 and he took the time to learn it.

We don't use the OTM client so I can't comment on it.
