Not from the phone. You would need to trace out the TN of the phone and then print a TNB in LD20 to get the DN.

If you no want dial another extension or operator , only print TNB ;obviously you know the TN (more difficult).

Another thing you can do is make a voicemail box (or use the one for the phone in the phone room), call it and leave a message, then call the voicemail, log into the mailbox and listen to the messages envelope information. Takes a minute but can keep you from running around or calling someone else. Also works for any type of phone, IP, digital, and analog, as long as it has an extension number.

Setup a phone with Auto Answer CLS.

Have user dial phone's PDN

Trace the call

Do a DNB and trace TN on the MDF

Flypig,

The simplest way to track down the DN on an unmarked active M2616 telephone is to pick up handset and dial "0"; when the system operator answers say, "Hello, this is the telecom tech, could you please tell me what the number is I'm calling you from?" Be sure to thank the operator so next time you need her/his assistance they will be willing to help you again.
