I plugged in a new MC32S card in slot 0 on the IPE shelf, it took down the entire shelf starting with the line card in slot 15. System error was Card Polling Failure, it acted like it took the controller down. Anyone else have this problem, what was the cure?

Anyone reading this, if you leave the card in although all the line cards in the IPE shelf disable they come back. The MC32S boots, while this is booting the IPE cards will start to come back, takes about 2 minutes.

I have 4 in one of our IPE Shelves, but in slots 12-15, and didn't experience any issues with other cards in the shelf. Not quite sure what caused your problem there, not aware of any issues using any of the slots.

Had this happen on a 61c. After some extensive T/S, moving card to another slot, changing card, etc. Found that the Zero Capacitance amphenol connector that is installed on the back of the IPE shelf was faulty. Replaced the amphenol and did not have any further trouble. Curious, however, I disected the bad amphenol. And it only appeared to be a straight through connector with no noticable faults.
