Option 11 backup PCMCIA card/memory card?

Hello all -

A service person came and helped us with our Option 11 and noted that we don't have a memory card that is used to back up the system settings. He said we should get one and I believe it was a PCMCIA card but I cannot be sure. Does anyone know what part I am looking for and perhaps a part number and or a place to purchase from?

Thanks!

Found this on the Nortel web site (Bulletin Number: P-2003-0363-Global
Issue: 1.0
Date: 24 October 2003)

The industrial grade card is identified as a 64 MB Compact Flash w/PCMCIA adapter (# SDCFB-64-798 ).
The Nortel Networks order code for the blank 64MB PCMCIA card is A0863689. This card is also
provided with pre-programmed software ordered on a PCMCIA card.

I suggest contact your favorite Nortel vendor, and let them order this for you. You may also need to use a PCMCIA Programmer Tool, and there may be updated bulletins.

Google this part code "A0863689", perhaps you find some of the results useful, although you would transact at your own risk of course.

Here is a matrix from an extract of a newer document:

Its highly likely that a 64M card will be like hens teeth......

I use a 250M card (and have seen 512M used) BUT these have to be SANDISK. A word of warning though is that it will not work on 25.30 and below (there was actually a patch for 25.30, but I cannot remember what it was).

Mine is acuually a compact flask card in a PCMCIA adapter. Works fine.

A PCMCIA can be formatted from PDT as well if required (and you are familiar with it).

LOL... they have become rather rare in our parts of the planet, haven't they?
