Rep Power: 0 ![]() | We are bringing up a new CS1000S in our lab and are having trouble getting the MC32S to take a download from the Signaling Server. We add the MC32S card in Element Manager and assign the IP address etc but when we go to save and transfer the download errors out. We have two cards acting the same way. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Getting the same problem of transferring. I upgrading PBX rls 4 to 4.5, it gets successful then SS to release 4.00.55.88 it also gots OK but when i downloaded new MC32 IPL software and unzipped it to flash of MC32 it wont boots to IPL rather goes to VXWorks prompt. Neither I can transfer Node properties to MC32, i also tried deleting node and transfer to MC32 but it also fails. SS and PBX patches are update. How could i upgrade this MC32 and why it wiont load IPL prompt? Any help in this regards will be very helpful. regards

You do not mistaken? MC32S is supported from rel. 5.X, but 1000S architecture in these rls is absent.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | We resolved the problem. It turned out that we were following the instructions in Element Manager and there is a set-up section where you are prompted to add the MC32S into the Signaling Server. After this was filled out and the transfer was initiated is where we saw the failure. The elements could not “start task”. We found out that this section was not required at all. The MC32S was already operational and did not require us to configure this page. We ended up deleting all of the cards from the Signaling Server. The correct procedure is to go to Media Gateways and add your IPMG cards. The documentation shows the initial step we took, which was wrong. I did mis-state the system as CS1000S. It is a CS1000E. Thanks for your posts.
