Designation display issue

Hi,

We're experiencing the following issue:

We always define the designation field (DES) for every extension we program. However, some of them show on displays, some don't (but the name and extension show). We have this problem with different phone types (M2616, M3903). We tried to find an explanation, comparing the prints without success. The only common thing is that all extensions that don't show DES has PUA as working ones don't (but I don't get the "link" between the issue and PUA). Any idea would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like you have DES turned on for multiple appearance DNs in your Name Display data block.
Look in LD 95. Print the CPND data block.

Designation display issue

I may not have mentionned it in my post, but we do want the DES to show on displays (sorry about the confusion). I verified and LD95 shows DES to YES. If we put NO, my understanding is that the DES won't show anymore on all sets. Should we put NO and then back to YES to "reset" it?
Thanks again!
