Hi,

I have a 2616 configured as follows. Key 0 SCR 4390, key 1 scr 6000,2 scr 6001, key 4 4601. The phone hunts up to key 2.

4390,6000,6001 do not have voicemail but key four does. How do I setup the phone so the phone goes to voicemail for 4601 which it currently does, but doesn't generate a mesage for 4390.

Should I put 4601 on key 0 and set the last hunt key to 0?

Are you say that when you dial 4601 and go to voice mail the switch generate an error msg?

Hi,

I'm not sure how to find the first reply. When a user calles 4390 the pbx generates and error. Not when they call 4601

If you want the user that calls extension 4390 to be able to leave a voice mail message in the 4601 mailbox you can add the 4390 extension in the voice mailbox on the section labeled Extension DN in Meridian Mail.....

If not you would have to reverse the program as you suggested.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for:

The call coming in on X4390 will goto VM on the 4th ring (asumming here) or hunt to VM. MM will see X4390 and not have a mailbox for it so you get the error. This will apply to the 6000 and 6001. You have two options. Add Mailboxes for all the numbers, messy, or add 4390, 6000 and 6001 as extension in 4601.
