Payphones on a Meridian 1

I donīt think so, because the telephone company sends pulses to the phone to activate the CDR when the coin is dropped into the phone. But on the other hand maybe you have payphones in the States like we have, they are used on ordinary analog lines, and you decide the price for the use of the phone. They work in the following mode: the user picks up the handset, gets dialtone, dials the number, when the other end answers the user puts the coins in and that activates the mouthpice, but you have to empty the coin box yourself when itīs full.

Thankīs for sorting this out PP. You must be using other methods in the States then we do. I was writing my answer while you came with the sollution.  . For example we cannot use caller IDīs from you, because the signalling is a bit different than ours.

redirect dn patch on NAM 4.0 needed for MICS 6.0?

I am on the provider side of the payphone at our company. I don't know what brand they use but I know the work pretty well. If I ever find out I will let you know.
