I'm trying to change the MOH from the default royaly-free music to an external music such as a radio (on an option 11).

Does anyone know what port/channel/trunk or whatever is associated with so I can create a music route?

The internal port/channels 0 thru 7 appear to correspond to TN 4 0 thru TN 4 7 but the docs are vague on the *analog* input config.

Any info is highly appreciated!

Payphones on a Meridian 1

Use LD 16 to create your music route.

Then use LD 14 to create your music trunk.

Connect your music source to the TN that you programmed in LD 14.

At the prompt "MUS" in your COT,DID,or TIE routes in LD 16 say yes, the you are prompted with "MURT". This will be the new music route you created in LD 16.

By doing this you are taking the MIRAN out of the picture and shouldn't need to worry about the "analog" input config.

By the way, the FCC frowns on using radios for MOH.

MWI DN set to another phone

Thanks a million for the info.

Anyone wanna buy a useless MIRAN card?

I don't have to worry about the FCC, just the CRTC.

OK I got as far as 'Connect your music source to the TN that you programmed in LD 14.'

Which TN should I use ?

These are my choices:

TN 1-X TMDI
TN 2-X Empty card slot
TN 3-X UNIV TRUNK
TN 4-X MIRAN
TN 5-X empty card slot
TN 6-X empty card slot
TN 7-X Analog Phones
TN 8-X Digital Phones
TN 9-X Digital Phones

Thanks for any info you can provide.
