11xx phones and voice mail key function

It was brought to my attention that the 11xx phones do not have the skip forward feature that the 39xx's phone did. When you listen to a message on a 39xx phone you were able to skip forward/backward during a message. Now with the 11xx phones we have that is not available.

Has anyone had this and is there a fix?

Could be wrong here, but on a CP (and I think Mermail), while you are listening to the message:

Press 3 to skip forward "X" amount of time
Press 1 to skip back "X" amount of time

In CP:

Press 6 for next message
Press 4 for previous message

In Mail:

Press 3 to skip to next message
Press 1 to skip to previous message.

The mail commands may be a bit rubbery, as there seems to be some different versions.

Info found in Nortel document:

555-7101-403 and 555-7101-404

"Context Sensitive Soft Keys" was added with CS 1000 5.0.

When accessing voice mail via the "Msg/Inbox" key, you have the following sequence of soft keys on an IP Phone:
Play Delete Call More...
Stop Conf Reply More...
Compose Forward Goodbye More..
