Rep Power: 6 ![]() | MWI DN set to another phone The MEI LINK on MAX is showing down. This is an 8.71 rls MAX. on an 81C. Third party is aspect RTA. The Listen has been re-started which worked last time, however it is not responding now. We have another center tied to the same Listen program ( Same MAX/PBX type) that is working and the link is up. LAN LINK File indicates that Keep Alive has not been received from RTA Listen program. Any ideas?

Location: Chlt-NC Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Symonview & Multicast A keep alive must be received from the client every two minutes, otherwise the link will go down. From the maintenance screen, go to the Lan Diagnostic tools, and select your MEI link info and see what the status of everything is. During a low traffic period, (hardly any ACD traffic), trun on your MEI Link trace and capture it for around 10 minutes or so. Afterwords, review the file, and see that you are receiving the Keep Alives. Also, are you seeing any errors besides this: **** WARNING **** Keep alive timer for link 30 on port 44247 expired It is quite possible that the LNA is experiencing some problems. If you are able to to get the Aspect RTA client to log back in and it works for awhile befor going down, I would suspect the LAN. Another clue may be is MTE sessions get knocked down.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Meridian RPE rhack-We re-boot the LAN server last night and the LINK came up. Thought I'd never convince the LAN guys that the problem was on their end not mine. They are about as hard to deal with as local carriers. It's never their problem. They finally re-booted just to get me off their backs and were a little more considerate when I show them I wasn't the only one saying it was the application not MAX. Of course, now they can't figure out why that worked. Oh well, job security. Thanks much for your help again.
